Python Job: Python Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance various applications impacting multiple jurisdictions.


• Improve existing codebase to enhance performance and functionality.


• Engage in daily stand-up meetings with the development team following Agile methodology.

Requirements:

• Intermediate to Senior level Python development experience (4-5 years) with a focus on server-side development.


• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and experience with Flask framework.


• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular or JavaScript.


• Background in finance, particularly knowledge of investment banking industry and regulatory reporting terminology.


• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.


• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.


• Experience with object databases like MongoDB or NoSQL.


• Comfortable working predominantly on backend (70%) but also capable with front-end (30%).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Full-stack development experience with a backend focus.


• Additional knowledge of regulatory reporting processes.


• Proficiency in Angular or JavaScript for front-end development.


• Experience with microservices architecture.


• Understanding of multithreading concepts.


• Familiarity with design patterns.


• Ability to write unit tests in Python for code quality assurance.
